Where the heck is Retreat?
Our retreats for 2011/2012 will be held at:
Bittern Lake Hunting Lodge (BLL)
Battle Lake 4H Centre (Near Westerose Alberta 1 hour south of Edmonton)
Camp HeHoHa Retreat Centre (Near Seba Beach 45 minutes West of Edmonton)
Star of the North Retreat Centre (in St.Albert)
BLL is a hunting lodge and is magically transformed into a crafters get-a-way for our weekends. BLL is only 55 minutes from Sherwood Park down Hwy 21 to Camrose.
Battle Lake 4H Centre (BL4H) is 113km SW of Edmonton and is only a 1hr 15min drive from Sherwood Park. The Centre is large, roomy and boasts beautiful scenic views, walking trails and friendly wildlife.
Camp Health Hope and Happiness (HEHOHA) is a non profit camp for disabled children and adults during the summer and a hot spot for retreaters in the non summer months. Camp HeHoHa is a quick 45minute drive from the west end of Edmonton and boasts semi private rooms all with private bathrooms, great rooms for crafting with crafting lights and a beautiful lake front scenic view.

Star of the North Retreat Centre is a peaceful oasis in the midst of a busy world. Whether you want time out from a hectic schedule, an opportunity to explore your inner crafting self, or a place to meet with friends, Star of the North may be the place for you. All rooms have a private sink/wash area, with shared shower facilities. All rooms are either a single twin or a single double bed. You can also choose to have a private suite with a private bathroom. | |
You will receive a map and explicit directions to the retreat with your confirmation of events email approximately 1-2weeks before retreat. Guests should note that BLL is a HUNTING lodge, which means that there are a few "stuffed" animals on the walls, etc. more like the taxidermy type! |
